This Memornadum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in June 2014 at the SPNHC meeting in Cardiff, Wales.
The Natural Science Collections Association (hereafter referred to as NatSCA), The Geological Curators’ Group (hereafter referred to as GCG) and the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections (hereafter referred to as SPNHC) have reached an agreement on the following points in order to increase and improve collaboration in areas of common interest.

A roadmap is issued at the start of every new Chair’s tenure, and sets out where we are and what we aspire to achieve over the coming three years. Although the Roadmap 2023-2025 was initially drafted by the Chair, the whole committee has contributed to and signed off on this document. Emma is keen that this Roadmap is not a list of things she hopes to accomplish as Chair, but rather a set of targets the whole committee intends for GCG to achieve during this tenure.

The Geological Curators’ Group is open to ALL and will not tolerate racism, or any other forms of prejudice, within our community.
