47th Annual General Meeting

"The Lockdown Edition"

Due to the second National COVID19 lockdown in the UK, the 47th AGM of the group was held virtually on 30th November 2020. This was the first time that we used online voting systems to record votes during the meeting. 

As well as the AGM, attendees enjoyed two short talks entitled "3D imaging of rocks and beyond" and "Rocking the Boat: geological collections and social change". Due to the virtual format, it was possible for many more of our members from overseas to attend, many of whom we do not see at our traditional events.
