Pyrite oxidation is a significant problem for mineral and fossil collections in both small and large museums. But what are the most recent research developments and what are we all doing about it? Do you have, or suspect you have pyritic specimens within your collections? If so, save the date for this day of talks and workshops to be held at the Natural History Museum in London, in association with Geological Curators Group. Costs for the event are expected to be £15-30.

Speakers are invited for the morning session. If you are undertaking a re-storage program or have recently undertaken/embarked on research then we would love to hear about it.
